Being in the same location, namely on the Cunda River in Lhokseumawe, I am back to sharing my experiences through the following photos. Of course, different shooting angles were my initial determination in this "Middle-aged Woman: Oyster Finder" is title that I raise on this occasion.
In my city, looking for oysters is a long-standing custom. Because wild oysters are simple to find when the river is receding, the majority of oyster seekers are women who live along the river banks and pursue this seasonal occupation.
I was born here, in Mon Geudong Village, therefore I truly understand their economic predicament. They are categorized as citizens with low incomes. They don't like to grumble, though, because all is done to provide for their family.

On this occasion, I will tell you a little about my village, Mon Geudong, which is now a territorial area in Lhokseumawe City, which is directly adjacent to the coast of this river.
In my opinion, this area is classified as very strategic. This proves that "Mon Geudong" was found in an old document published in 1887. This reference comes from a link belonging to a well-known university in the Netherlands. In full, the name of this area is listed on the map in the last appendix of this book. This is the link:
This is just my view; I hope this information is useful for observers of history, and now is the time to return to the world of photography through some of my shots when the oyster seekers were in the river.
