Hey fam, hope everyone back home is doing great!
I had to drop everything and write to you about this ridiculous scene I witnessed outside my quarters this morning. I’m walking out with my morning brew, and I see a wild Dire Rat and a young Flame Fowl absolutely throwing down over a single, tiny, stale breadcrumb. I’m talking full-blown arena-level drama—feathers flying, teeth bared, total mayhem over a speck of food.
I just stood there watching them brawl for a minute before shaking my head. I went back inside, grabbed a whole fresh loaf of baked bread from the pantry, walked out, and tossed it right between them.
You should've seen their faces! They both froze, looked at the loaf, looked at each other, and just sat down side-by-side like old battle buddies, happily tearing into the loaf together. Turns out even the fiercest frontier beasts just need a full belly to keep the peace!
