Hello!! Good evening 🌙 DIYHub family, lovers of handmade crafts! Today, I’ll teach you how to make a fun animated little clown—the kind I loved so much as a child—using moldable foam (foam clay). I hope you all enjoy this creation, and I’m thrilled to share my experience working with this flexible material. Join me! 😊

In the following I will show you step by step the realization of my work. To begin with, I will mention all the materials used:

    STEP/PASO 1

    In the initial phase, I start by taking portions of clay in red, yellow, green, blue, brown, beige, black, and white for the animated characters’ bodies. Then, using my hands, I shape each color into small balls, giving them a smooth and playful finish.
    En la fase inicial, comienzo tomando una porción de arcilla en color rojo, amarillo, verde, azul, carmelita, beige, negro y blanco para el cuerpo de los animados. Luego, con las manos moldeó cada color en forma de bolas, dándoles una terminación curiosa.

    STEP/PASO 2

    Next, I carefully shape each part of the clown's body – the head, hat, ears, hair, outfit, little legs, and hands – putting all my love and creativity into every detail!
    Seguidamente, desarrollo las piezas del cuerpo en el payaso, su cabeza, su gorro, las orejas, su pelo, su traje, sus patas y sus manos, siempre dando lo mejor de mi.

    STEP/PASO 3

    Finally, we create the eyes and add the finishing touches to the face and nose, using red, black, and white to make them shine. This part is a bit more challenging since the smaller pieces require delicate molding!
    Ya por último, realizamos los ojos y retoques finales en su cara y nariz, utilizando los colores rojo, negro y blanco para el brillo. Este diseño es un poco más complejo, pues son más pequeñas las partes a la hora de moldear.
