The reference image was taken from Pinterest, representing these Darumas votive figures without arms and legs that many like 🥰 created by Japanese companies. I was inspired to design them in foami, as I have seen several designs in my country, created with these very traditional characters. I know it's not much, but it's my way of expressing myself through art.
La imagen de referencia fue tomada en Pinterest, en representación de estas figuras votivas Darumas sin brazos ni piernas que gustan muchos 🥰 creados por compañías japonesas. Me inspire a diseñarlos en foami, ya que he visto varios diseños en mi país, creados con estos personajes bien tradicional. Sé que no es mucho, pero es mi manera de expresarme mediante el arte.

In the following I will show you step by step the realization of my work. To begin with, I will mention all the materials used:

    STEP/PASO 1

    In the initial phase, I started by taking a portion of red clay to make the body of the animated figure. Then, with his hands, he molded them into balls, giving them a curious finish.
    En la fase inicial, comienzo tomando una porción de arcilla en color rojo para realizar el cuerpo del animado. Luego, con las manos moldeó en forma de bola, dándoles una terminación curiosa.

    STEP/PASO 2

    Next, I develop the body parts on the doll, its head, body, eyebrows, beginning of its eyes, whiskers and nose, with new shades of beige and yellow, always giving my best.
    Seguidamente, desarrollo las partes del cuerpo en el muñeco, su cabeza, cuerpo, cejas, comienzo de sus ojos, bigotes y nariz, con nuevas tonalidades de beige y amarillo, siempre dando lo mejor de mi.

    STEP/PASO 3

    Finally, we make the eyes and final touches on the face, using black and white colors for the brightness of the figure. This design is a little more complex, as the parts are smaller when it comes to molding.
    Ya por último, realizamos los ojos y retoques finales en la cara, utilizando los colores negro y blanco para el brillo de la figura. Este diseño es un poco más complejo, pues son más pequeñas las partes a la hora de moldear.
