Hola!! familia diyhub@diyhub, amantes del arte y trabajos manuales. El d铆a de hoy les ense帽ar茅 a realizar con foami moldeable (foam clay) a dos personajes muy tiernos como Stitch y Angel, pero esta vez con una versi贸n diferente y tendencia mundial que son los "Labubus".

The reference image was taken from the official page, featuring the poster produced and distributed by the retail company PopMart. I felt inspired to design them in foam clay because I鈥檓 a huge fan of this series of collectible plush toys鈥擧ong Kong鈥檚 monstrous elf-like Labubu figures. I know it鈥檚 not much, but this is my way of expressing myself through art.

Me inspire a dise帽arlos en foami clay, pues soy muy fans de esta serie de mu帽ecos de peluche coleccionables en forma de elfos monstruosos de Hong Kong los Labubu. S茅 que no es mucho, pero es mi manera de expresarme mediante el arte.

In the following I will show you step by step the realization of my work. To begin with, I will mention all the materials used:

    STEP/PASO 1

    In the initial phase, I start by taking a portion of clay in blue, pink and beige colors for the body of the animated ones. Then, with his hands he molded each color into balls, giving them a curious finish.

    STEP/PASO 2

    Next, I鈥檒l shape each part of the Labubu鈥檚 body鈥攖heir head, belly, paws, ears, eyes, and hands鈥攁lways putting my best effort into every detail!
    Seguidamente, desarrollo las partes del cuerpo en los labubus, su cabeza , barriga, patas, orejas, ojos y manos , siempre dando lo mejor de mi.

    STEP/PASO 3

    Finally, we鈥檒l craft the eyes and add the final touches to their faces, using black and white for highlights. Then, we鈥檒l apply a coat of acrylic clay varnish to give them a polished, original look. This part is a bit more challenging since the smaller details require extra precision when molding. But the result is worth it!
    Ya por 煤ltimo, realizamos los ojos y retoques finales en sus cara, utilizando los colores negro y blanco para el brillo, adem谩s pasamos a agregar una pasada de barniz acr铆lico clay para darle m谩s originalidad.
