What seems joyful on the surface may not be so beyond the surface. Often, we see people from their facial expressions, from the stunning photos they post on social medias, from the happy story-sharing time, but what happened in between those sharing, only God knows. From last year until today, I had read so many suicide news and was truly saddened by them. Most of them caught people by surprise. One could be happily celebrating his child's birthday but commited suicide on the same night, leaving behind a shocked wife and children.

.

Life is really not easy. It's complicated. We are so complicated with feelings we don't know how to gauge at times. We can never completely understand ourselves. What makes us happy today may make us frustrated in the future. We change. People change. The world also changes abruptly. The weather changes. Everyone is trying to look good on the surface and no, we are not acting or pretending. We are surviving.

Both you and I especially. We are surviving a pandemic. Children are allowed to scream when they feel helpless. However, when an adult screams, he or she will be judged. I try to allow my children to freely express their anger and frustration without commenting anything. So that they also learn to regulate the feelings and hopefully one day they will grow up to be more sensible in expression. Actually, I am not sure where are my thoughts now. They are everywhere.

One may sound good at blogging or vlogging but perhaps, she or he is facing hardships. We never know. I do think now is the best time to reach out, to connect to people who love you. To give your time and attention to friends and family. You never know. You never know when will it be the last.

And I am not sure why I sound like this, but actually, I am in positive vibes. Nothing gloomy or moody here. And lastly, I hope everyone is doing well, or at least, striving to be well. Do take care wherever you are. Practise love. Self-love. Love others. Receive love. Because, love never fails.
