Move over here abit!
Errr.... No, no, move over there abit!!
There was an occasion happened at my friend's house when I went over to do group study. Our friend wasn't aware of this arrangement, or else she wouldn't ask me to go over.
A 'fengshui' master arrived, booked by her mother, to 'diagnose' the condition of their living room, so to ensure everything was in right position to bring in wealth and health aka good fortune. 'Fengshui' in Mandarin is wind and water, the two elements which were believed by some people to have to ability to either break you or make you.
He was holding a compass-like tool on his palm, but it wasn't compass, there were words in Mandarin stated on it. Walking around, he was commanding my friend's mother to move this furniture over here and that furniture over there. It was quite an amusement to us younger people who didn't quite believe and we just wanted to study together. Our table was summoned to be move over slightly to the left abit. We vacanted the table. Then, it was over and over again, "Move over here, move over there," until my friend's mom was a little impatient and agitated.
Stay with me till the end, because to me and my friend, it was super hilarious.
The master suddenly casted his eyes on me. Maybe I was pretty? I thought. But too bad, I was too young for him hehe.
"You. You not suppose to be here. Who are you?" The Master exclaimed.
"She is my friend," my friend replied.
"Means she isn't your daughter. Didn't I told you, outsider can't be in the house." He looked at aunt and said.
I was 'casted' out immediately so that he could perform his task properly. According to them, the 'energy' in the house must be the natural ones, meaning those from the family members only or else it would distrupt his diagnosis.
Question was: He knew I wasn't part of the family eventhough he didn't know me. Accurate. So should we believe in feng shui or not? Yay? Nay? Up till today, my friend and I had no idea.
