He was standing still for so long that he didn't look like a living human anymore. He was like a dull version of himself. He wasn't thinking; his brain was frozen.
Who was this man?
Huh! Another somebody gotten beaten by life!
Suddenly, his legs started moving and independently sent him to a café where some of his friends hung out.
When he entered the place, suddenly his blood found its way to his brain. He started breathing. He looked around, searching for familiar faces.
He found one of his friends standing at the bar, drinking coffee and talking to the bartender.
His friend noticed him, stood up, and walked slowly toward him, as if he wanted to think about his behavior with his friend on the way.
"I knew it! I knew they would do this to you. I warned you, buddy! Now come on, the world didn't end. So you lost some money."
The man always thought his friend talked too much, but at those moments it felt like his words magically gave back his ability to breathe and talk.
Those promising companies stole his money with their smooth-talking representatives and fancy offices. All of that was in the sky now.
He was a victim of his simplicity and of big frauds. The reality of wolves scratched him, and he was bleeding.
He wasn't one of them.
He was just a poor victim.
