It was our belated birthday celebration with mother-in-law, and we went hunting for good durians to eat, because we all love durians and she loves durian too. After reading review, hubby decided to give this place a try. It was our first time. We do usually spent for durians, but for the hero of the day, let it be so.
Durian Man
They have varieties of durians breed, some I have not heard before, but we were watching our health as well, so we agreed would not eat too much. We ordered Musang King, XO and 88. Each had its distinctive taste.
Musang King
This 'king' really look handsome, super creamy and fleshy, flat seed, tasted sweet and a little bit bitter or anything in between. Special taste. No wonder so expensive.
XO and 88
I really love XO the most as it carried some bitter alcohol taste. Ironically, I don't drink wine or beer but I love XO durian. Superb! 88 is more towards the sweet sweet, actually I also not quite sure as I ate 88 the last, and my taste buds got haywired by the King and the XO haha.
They have durian cake and durian ice-cream and cendol, as well as fresh coconut drink, but we were settled for durians as after that we would head for our lunch. Talking abit big tummy space. Haha. And extra calories.
Village Park
Besides lovers of durians, all of us are lovers of 'nasi lemak' too, so we went to nearby area to look for this famous nasi lemak, with huge tasty fried chicken and fragrant 'sambal'.
It didn't disappoint us at all. Super yummy! The crowd in-and-out was fast and then we saw a poster stated "recommended dine-in customers to finish food within 30 minutes for incoming customers. Wow, that famous!
