Best Start || Family❤️ | Freewrite's Prompt by @mariannewest
Meeting my family upnorth was the best start of the year 2022. Time flies and after all the restrictions of travelling due to Covid19, I had not seen my parents for 2 years. When the travelling started to open, it was time for my parents to fly to upnorth West Malaysia to be with my sister as she just gave birth. This was end of last year.
.
My brothers and I who are residing at Kuala Lumpur had been planning and waiting for opportune time to travel together upnorth, this time with our own family and kids. What other better way than to do it during Chinese New Year. It was indeed a time to gather. We all really missed one another. I missed my sister who already stay put at upnorth Kedah. I missed my parents who had been at East Malaysia for so many years. Miss miss. Miss miss.
Best Start of Year 2022
Isn't this the best start of the year, although it was February instead of January, to be all together again, although only 3 days, but super 3 days of precious moments together. I love love love this. I could tears typing it because I miss family every day. I can say this again and again.
Show you my family
This is the original 6 of us — the Lees. My parents, myself, my elder sister and my two younger brothers. I am thr one in orange in case you do not know. When will I see my sister and parents again now that we are back to KL again. My two younger brothers are with me at KL so I can see them often.
Four Musketeers
This is us. The four musketeers. We are thankful for our parents whom with selfless love 'rare' us up to this stage, big and married (left the youngest one, waiting for time to get married). Parents' love is priceless, they can do anything for kids. I remembered during the greatest inflation and financial state was hard, my parents ate rice with water and we got to eat rice with eggs and chicken. The two brothers were not out, so only my sister and I witnessed such great love.
My best buddy sister
Me and my sister is one year apart so we are like best buddies. We fought. Then we apologised and hugged each other again in no time. We played with mum's lipstick and teamed up to hide it so that mum wouldn't find out *(later on when we grew up, we found out she actually found out and kept quiet since we were already so scared till we hid her lipsticks, mama, you are the best).
My parents
All credit to this couple. We learned forgiveness and love from them. We learn generosity and empathy from them. We learn kindness from them too. Without them, we are not who we are today.
I. Miss. My. Parents. A. Lot.
Although now we are not together again (except my youngest brother), I pray all of them to be kept well always, healthy and strong. Be merry and cheerful always. Hope one day I can fly to East Malaysia with my husband and boys to visit my parents, my hometown. Showing you our family group photo but sister's husband not in the photo as their baby was sleeping so he stayed with the baby.
New update
My youngest son was having a great time as he found his cousin sister also loves Spiderman as much as he does. They could pattern and pose together so we bought same mask for them. They really did a lot of Spiderman movie at my sister's house.
