Hiiiii, It's nice to have you all here again, to discuss this amazing topic
Double dating is simply a way of having a romantic relationship with two people at the same time.
Double dating in our society has turned to a normal way of life for some people, to some, it's a desire for variety and excitement. They might feel like they're not getting enough from one relationship, so they seek out another to fulfill their needs.
For others, it's a fear of commitment. They might be hesitant to settle down with one person, so they keep their options open by dating multiple people, to avoid being hurt
Of course, double dating is not without it's risks, for one, it can be hurtful to the people involved
Imagine finding out that your partner is secretly dating someone else, it's a betrayal of trust that can be difficult to recover from. Double dating can also lead to emotional distress, anxiety and depression from the other partner
Many people tend to cope with double dating by communicating openly and honestly with all parties involved. This can be a difficult conversation to have, but it's essential for avoiding hurt feelings and misunderstandings, others might set clear boundaries and expectations, making sure that everyone involved knows what they're getting through.
But even with the best intent, double dating can be a recipe for disaster. It's a delicate balancing act, and one that requires careful consideration and respect for all parties involved.
Double dating is a complex issue, I must say, while it might be appealing for some, it's important to consider the risks and consequences. By being honest, respectful and communicative, we navigate the challenges of double dating and build stronger, healthier relationships
I would say double dating has ruin a long term relationship I've built
Personally, I've been involved in double dating, there was a time I was dating a guy, I loved him so much no doubt but I found out that he was secretly seeing someone, I was heart broken and hurt,
That experience made me learned negatively, the next relationship I got into, I double dated cause I was scared of being broken again, in that relationship, I didn't give myself to it, I was not so into the relationship,
I was double dating and was not still feeling the relationship, it was more like me stressing myself emotionally, I was doing all of that cause I was hurt and also scared of being hurt,
At long last I had to end up everything, cause there was no need being in two different relationship and still not finding joy in it
I didn't find it easy, but thank God is now something I would not find myself doing again
Many people find themselves double dating not because they really want to, but because they've been hurt in different ways, and is not something someone get to heal from easily, if really you were into the relationship.
I'm not in anyway encouraging people that are hurt to double date, people have different ways of handling heartbreak.
Our society today have seen nothing wrong with double dating, they've made people who happened to be in a single relationship feel like their good or sincerity will not actually pay, or with the usual talk, "I cannot be an understanding partner and be suffering" We should not allow the society to blind us with the fact that there's nothing wrong with double dating, there's no reason to back that act up
Cause there's everything wrong with double dating if you actually know what you want.
When someone cheats, they are not just breaking the trust of their partner
They are shattering their heart into a million pieces
The pain of betrayal is a wound that cuts deep and is a scar that never fully fades,
Its a reminder that the person you love and trusted could easily throw it away for a moment of pleasure
