This week topic reminds me of how I was fooled years back and how I fooled someone in the process
1st April is always a day where people used to fool others inorder to have fun, either through jokes or pranks it's usually happened from morning of the day to 12 noon, after these hours, we were told is not allowed, to April fool someone, that if any one is found fooling someone, that the person would be arrested, I do not know how true it is, but even with that, we still have people who get to fool others after such hour and it always used to be an amazing experience but annoying, I had so many stories behind April fool, but would be sharing just two among many.
I think as at 9-10 years back or so, it was early in the morning, when I was still in the boarding school, I think in my SS 1, there was this senior that always punish us, you know how it's mostly SS 1 that do most of the work in school, and all eyes always fall on them, this senior dislike my mates so well and cannot go a day without punishing us, so, one of my mates came to me and told me that the senior asked me to join her in fetching water, that we should make sure we full all her 15 buckets, I never wanted going buh I had no choice cause I was avoiding punishment, after I went, we did the fetching of water together, and was packing them to the hostel, when we were almost done, then my friend started by telling me Happy new month before breaking the April fool to me, and at the same time thanking me for helping her, I was so angry that I had to leave the place and couldn't imagine I helped her to fetch water, she really got me that day, cause how wish she told me the truth, I wouldn't have helped her fetch that water at all, cause we were all struggling for ourselves as it was during scarcity of water, it wasn't easy then, imagine fetching water for someone in that period 馃槀
Omoh, it was a bittered experience, I don't think it can be forgotten and since then, I never forget 1st April to be April fool
After that experience, I wanted to play along with someone else
So I went to my neighbor, and I told him that my mum said he should give me 5k to go give her at her work place, and that she was trying to reach him and his line was not connecting, he gently went inside and brought 5k and gave it to me, he even asked me if I had transport that will take me to her work place and I was like no, I didn't, he was like he's going to give me but I should hurry up maybe it was something very urgent, he gave me 6k together with transport to go give my mum, after he gave me and was about going back to his room, I shouted April fool and we all laughed in the compound, that was when the man realized it was 1st April, in his voice, so this is how this small girl fooled him.
Since then, any time he sees me or when I'm sent to his place, he will always make sure he confirm very well inorder not to be fool again, he didn't even want to believe that it's only April 1st that we do fool people, he was always careful whenever I was sent to him
That was how I got to use that money for me personal use
It's always get someone annoys but at long last, it will definitely make people smile
