THE MATTHEW EFFECT
"For to every one who has will more be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away."
— Matthew 25:29
(The above verse was basically Jesus' way of saying: "The rich will keep on getting richer, and the poor will get poorer.")
This means:
In order to have MORE, you have to have SOMETHING.
In order to have SOMETHING, you have to TAKE from those who already HAVE.
There are 3 paths to TAKING:
- Inherit (from a parent, guardian or preedecessor)
- Sell (Trade a product or service for it. Trade respect and Love. Trade your body. Trade your soul.)
- Steal ("if you can take it and KEEP it, it is yours." - V, The mafia manager).
WHY POOR PEOPLE ARE DOOMED?
- Nothing to inherit
- Don't know what to sell, still
- Don't want to steal
