Hello hive family. I feel I need to give a little information about my baby lucy.
Lucy is a Lhasa Apso breed. Like I said in my previous post, I am a dog mum. I have loved dogs since my home alone movie days. My mum didn’t allow me to have one because, I wouldn’t have been able to take care of it. I mean, I understand better now because Lucy is a jealous, over protective daughter that loves attention.
Let me backtrack to when I first got Lucy. It was last year we were all recovering from the covid lockdown, people were hopping on TikTok and trying new skills but I was bored at home and needed a friend. luckily for me, a close friend of mine’s dog gave birth and I saw this beautiful baby with larger than life eyes.
I still remember the video of her playing with her sister and I knew I had to have her😍
When I first got her home, Lucy love to attach herself to me, she never left my bed or my body. I definitely love the affection and loved cuddling with her. It was like we were in our own world. Having to train a new pup is not rosy, I think it don’t get talked about. If you’re thinking of getting a new pup, here are some few tips:
I must say, having a pet is not always rosy! There are times you have to closely watch your pet to know if they’re eating well, pooing or not happy. It’s been 9 months of being a dog mum, and the experience is something I cherish so much.
I keep learning more from my baby she has taught me patience, understanding, love, and how to enjoy my own company. I think all dog lovers has canceled appointment one or two times just to spend time with their dog.
I love her every single day for bringing joy to my life. I now understand when my baby needs cuddle, or need something to munch on. And I definitely enjoy it when she cuddles me. Having a pet has been a life changing experience.
I hope to add more pup to keep Lucy company. kindly suggest below if you’re a dog lover and what breed are you adding to your family or should I add to mine?
