Well... rutabaga. Yeah, I decided yesterday that I'm going to write about rutabaga today. Why? I'm not entirely certain.
But yeah, rutabaga are a rather interesting vegetable. For one thing, it's purple! For another, it has such a great name. And it's purple! (Well, white too, but we try not to talk about that.)
And that, my various friends and more various enemies, is all that I know about rutabaga. Or just about.
Moving on.
Hmm. A coupla days ago an acquaintance (I write acquaintance so that he can see this and be insulted/amused that I didn't just refer to him as a friend) commented to me that I am a "hipster" because I take random walks in the park to clear my mind. I don't know about you, but my first thought was that he appears to have a different definition of "hipster" than I do.
Then again, I don't really have a definition for hipster. How would you define it? Oops. I said I wouldn't ask you questions anymore. Well, it's not like I actually kept to anything that I said I would do since I started this blog.
That was badly phrased. I've kept to things I've said since that point, I just didn't keep to anything I said on this blog. Unless I did. You see what I mean? (Oops) It's like my entire existence is for the sole purpose of annoying, and for that matter, frustrating you.
But what is my definition of a "hipster?" I don't really know, but if I were to define myself as a hipster, it would be because I randomly decide to put on really weird music and dance terribly to it. And because when I hear really weird, kinda funky music and I see other weirdos dancing to it, I will usually join in.
But that probably just means I'm weird. I guess hipsters must all be weird?
Yeah, I think we've officiously established that I have no idea what a hipster is. I believe we've also officiously established that I enjoy randomly inputting the word "officiously" in places and cases whence the word "officially" would better fit.
Oh yeah, and I do actually think like this. This is all my thought-process as I'm typing, sometimes slightly ahead of what I'm typing because I occasionally type so fast that rutabaga - Wait, what? Umm, not really sure what that was doing there.
But in any case, this is actually the vocabulary of my mind. Hmm, sounds kinda poetic, like the title of a really cheesy realistic fiction novel: "The Vocabulary of My Mind"
Yeah, I would probably end up picking up that book, reading it from cover to cover (meaning I include both the summary on the inside cover and the author's lifestory with his/her videogame-designing career which changed to waitering and then finally settled upon his/her intended career as a novelist, with his/her husband/wife, 3 dogs, a horse, and 2 kids on their farm in Montana)(yes, I did just change subjects mid-sentence. Did anybody notice?), hate it, (yes, there was a sentence I was in the middle of before that long parenthesis), and end up ranting about it to an acquaintance (ha!) for the next week.
Wow, that was a long hypothetical about a book which likely doesn't exist, whose title I just came up with. Why would you ask a hypothetical question about something which would never end up happening anyway?
Ok, I think I'll quit while I'm still completely random.
-Hyperbole out.
