I took these pictures at my godmother's house, she grows a lot of plants, so we took a short walk through her garden and there I found some familiar flowers. One of them was the cayenne flower, there were two species, one red and the other in a very melon-like color with a reddish center. Cayenne can be single or double, like the red one, which looks like a rose. This plant adorns gardens, but also has many medicinal properties. One of its uses is associated with strengthening the scalp.

The Coqueta flower is also very showy, I love it, so I approached it to capture all its elements in detail. At that moment, I saw a small insect posing on it.

Its scientific name is Zinnia Elegans, here in Venezuela it is well known as the Coqueta flower, but it has many other names, such as Rosa Mística or Flor de Papel. We can see them single and double, like the cayenne. In the garden there was only this single species in fuchsia color, but I have seen red, orange and yellow ones.

In the tour we find the flowers Catharanthus Roseus, better known as Vinca Rosea. It is both an ornamental and medicinal plant. They exist in many varieties of colors, lilac, white and red. Some have pointed petals, others are more rounded. That day a few drops of rain fell, so I was able to capture them dry and with some sparks that looked like beautiful crystals.

The latter species I do not know, but I love the yellow flowers.

Estas fotografías las tomé en casa de mi madrina, ella cultiva muchas plantas, así que dimos un breve paseo por su jardín y allí me encontré con algunas flores conocidas. Una de ellas fue la flor de cayena, había dos especies, una roja y otra en un color muy parecido al melón con el centro rojizo. Las cayenas pueden ser sencillas o dobles, como la roja, que parece una rosa. Esta planta adorna los jardines, pero también posee muchas propiedades medicinales. Uno de sus usos está asociado al fortalecimiento del cuero cabelludo.

La flor de Coqueta también es muy vistosa, me encanta, así que me acerqué para captar todos sus elementos a detalle. En ese instante, vi un pequeño insecto que posaba en ella.

Su nombre científico es Zinnia Elegans, aquí en Venezuela es muy conocida como la flor de Coqueta, pero tiene muchos otros nombres, como Rosa Mística o Flor de Papel. Las podemos ver sencillas y dobles, como la cayena. En el jardín estaba solo esta especie sencilla en color fucsia, pero las he visto rojas, anaranjadas y amarillas.

Existen en muchas variedades de colores, lila, blancas y rojas. Algunas tienen la forma de los pétalos puntiagudos, otros, son más redondeados. Ese día cayeron unas gotas de lluvia, así que las pude capturar secas y con algunas chispas que parecían hermosos cristales.

Esta última especie no la conozco, pero me encantan las flores amarillas.
