A commissioned work i finished 2weeks ago,took alot of time, painstaking, commitment and observation to put the work together

Coloured pen, canvas,tipex,orange emulsion and bond
Process
- Make the total sketch first,as usual,I don't like to be too serious with the sketching cos I'll end up wasting excess time on it, thickening the lines out of correction and might make unerasable mistake,so I'm always free with the sketch..let it flow,through that,mistakes are easily manipulated

When shading I add light colours first which is yellow,leave some part unshaded to depict the highlight and add tipex(correcting fluid) if necessary

After shading downard from the left side,I move to the right,start from the left,below the completed part and repeat it,this is how I shade

I complete the face before adding my GELE(cloth wrapped around the head) starting from the top completing the GELE might be a disaster for me,due to the range,the GELE might becomes too wide or too small than the head

I map out the folds of the GELE,shade with the flow to perfectly show the contour,depth and movement

The GELE is completed,now i define the designs with my TIPEX and shade back the blue with different tone and shades

The husband as well shouldn't be left aside,so the face is also well defined with necessary reflections of colours,skin holes

The couples are coming out,the husband wears an AGBADA (a male native African attire)

The final shot,the ear ring is added,the hair and some touches,sprinkles of graffiti art,as design and love motif with an orange background to project the work...thanks for checking my post
