Shopping in traditional market can add the economic cycle of small traders. I shop at traditional market in the City of Sukabumi, West java, by chance it is close to my house, I can walk.
The name of the market is glodog, this market has been around that along time. Then the government built a bigger market not far from this market.
This market still survuves evenntrough there are several stalls, some till shop, open eigt in the morning, and close at around two in the aternoon, it is not as complete as in the main market.
The goods being sold sell basic necessities, one of which is vegetbles which are still available fresh. The majority of traders in this traditional market are men, selling vegetables such as long beans, corn, cecim, carrots, potstoes, mustard greens, beans, red chilies and other vegetables.
I did not shop a lot, I only bought a few vegetables, such as potatoes, carrots, cabbage, shallots, tofu, tempeh. Before weirghing the bargaining is done, after a greeing the price, the vegetables are then weighed.
From the vegetables we bought, after adding up the total money that must be spent is IDR 50.000,- if you count it in dollars around $3,5. If the rupiah the exchange rate is RP 14.000,-. The price of vegetables is currently ecperiencing a ecrease in the effects of Corona virus, thank you.
