I explored Tokyo at night for street photography, taking in abandoned cars and a rain-soaked Torii gate. My quiet session was interrupted by Rain Walkers and a Rain Slasher. After eliminating the threats in combat and ripping out their cores, the rain cleared and my peaceful walk ended.
I decided to do some night street photography along the roads of Tokyo. Heavy, loud music echoed in the distance, but I could not locate the source, so I chose not to investigate.
Instead, I stuck around the area and focused on taking a few photographs. I noticed several abandoned cars parked along the curb, wishing I could own one in my own reality.
I eventually reached a Torii gate just as it started to rain. Both the visual effect of the rainfall and the ambient sound added a beautiful atmosphere to the scene. I framed my shots to keep the full moon resting in the background behind the gate.
I chose not to use the official photo mode for any of these shots, as the game already looked picture-perfect on its own. Bright pink neon lights illuminated the pavement, making the road look even more stunning, while adjacent streets carried their own distinct visual appeal.
The continuous rain added an extra layer of beauty to everything I could see.
One particular side street caught my attention because of its striking color palette and unique lighting. As I moved closer to take it in, I noticed a group of monsters lurking further down the path.
The monsters spotted me immediately and closed the distance to attack. I foolishly assumed I would avoid taking damage while attempting to capture photos, but the creatures proved me wrong. A Rain Walker struck me right away, followed closely by a Rain Slasher.
I pulled out my firearms and eliminated the Rain Slasher before quickly taking care of the Rain Walker as well. My quiet night of street photography in the rain had been ruined by the sudden arrival of these demons, and the rain cleared up shortly after the fight ended.
Moving along, I spotted another street heavily guarded by a fresh group of demons. I decided to eliminate them quietly. While I was taking out one of the Rain Walkers from behind, another one spotted me and began charging toward my position.
The Rain Walkers posed little real threat to me, as they remained the weakest demons in the entire game.
While I finished off the remaining Rain Walkers, a Rain Slasher continued her patrol, pacing back and forth along the far side of the street without realizing her companions had been slain. Before she returned to my side of the road, I slipped behind cover, hid in the shadows, and waited for her to approach.
The moment she walked past my position, I stepped out, attacked her, and finished the fight in style by ripping the core directly out of her chest. That was how my quiet night of street photography ultimately went.
