While escaping the underworld, a Kuchisake ambushed me and ripped KK's soul out. After reclaiming KK, stunning the demon, and extracting its core, I stocked up on arrows from a Nekomata trader. Eliminating a second Kuchisake at the gate allowed me to return to the real world.
As I was trying to escape this dark underworld realm, a terrifying Kuchisake suddenly appeared to block my path. I was desperately searching the immediate area for elemental elixirs, as my supplies were completely drained and facing this scissor-wielding demon felt incredibly overwhelming.
Recognizing the source of my supernatural abilities, the Kuchisake lunged forward, closing the gap instantly and ripping KK's soul directly out of Akito's body. Stripped of my powers, I scrambled quickly toward KK's floating spirit and pulled him back inside before the demon could destroy him.
With my spirit abilities restored, the Kuchisake briefly paused before charging forward again. I quickly tossed down a stunned Stun Talisman to freeze the demon in place, following up immediately with a rapid barrage of elemental waves while it remained helpless.
Luckily, I managed to unleash my powerful Fire Weaving attacks against the immobilized target. The heavy explosive damage stunned the beast once more, allowing me to step in close, grab its exposed ethereal core, and tear it out to eliminate the threat completely.
I sprinted straight toward the exit gate to return to the real world, but a whole new wave of hostile Visitors spawned in to block my escape route. Realizing I had run completely out of elemental energy again, I made a quick tactical retreat toward the nearby shrine grounds.
Unfortunately, the shrine doors were sealed tight, preventing me from taking shelter inside. Fortunately, I spotted a friendly Nekomata trader cat operating its shop nearby, so I quickly accessed its trading inventory and purchased a fresh batch of arrows for my bow.
Equipped with ammunition, I headed back toward the gate and found a second Kuchisake guarding the portal. Refusing to fall back this time, I drew my bow and kept my distance, landing a series of precise headshots to put the demon down from a safe range.
Passing through the Torii Gate, I finally escaped the nightmare underworld and returned to reality. After wiping out a small group of wandering Visitors on the surface, I paused to take in the breathtaking, rain-slicked visual aesthetic of Togei Street glistening under the heavy downpour.
Having successfully retrieved the underworld oil to fuel Rinko's motorcycle, my next objective was heading toward the racing grounds to gather remaining bike parts.
Stopping at a nearby phone booth to deposit collected spirits using my Katashiro, Akito suddenly heard Mari's voice reassuring him to move forward.
