Last week was quite interesting for me even though I didn't take note of everything that happened to me. You know, I was so focused on the big things and forgot about those little things that brought smiles to my face. I don't have so much memories of how last week was for me but then there was some days in the previous week that stood out and I'd be sharing it with you.
As part of the dreemport challenge that is ongoing at the moment, we were challenged to make ourselves available for the "PIMP YOUR POST THURSDAY" in the Dreemport discord challenge. The showcase is held every Thursday, it gives everyone the opportunity to share a post that belongs to themselves or any other users on the hive Blockchain or else where. But for the previous week PYPT, we were asked to share a post of those on our dreem team and that made the showcase a very interesting one.
At first I was not sure if I'd enjoy the show because it's been a while I attended but then it was a different ballgame all together the moment the showcase started. Different people started sharing the post of their team members and it was just so fun at the comment section because we had some fun discussion going on as the show was on. The discussion became more fun as Dreemsteem decided to do some fun giveaways.
The hints of the giveaways was for everyone to make sure to pay attention to the different post that was shared and the people that shared them. I plugged in my earpiece so I made sure to listen as much as I can just so I can be in a better position to both benefit from the different post that was shared and also get the chance to win one of the giveaways by Dreem.
The first two giveaways she did has the prize pool of 5 HBD each and I wasn't so lucky to win the first one maybe because the question that was asked was related to the post I shared and it was against the rule of the giveaway to participate in a giveaway that involved the person sharing the post or the owner of the post that was shared. And as for the second giveaway, I was too slow because the giveaway was based on the fastest fingers.
I remember I was literally shaking and my heart was beating faster than usual, lol. Despite the fact that I didn't get Lucky with the giveaways, I was still having fun and also enjoying the different discussion going on at the comment section. The showcase was normally supposed to last for at least 1 hour and few minutes but this time it lasted close to 2 hours and over 30 minutes.
I was already planning to disconnect from voice so I could go write my post when Dreem said she was going to do a final giveaway. Is not as if she didn't wanted to do the giveaway earlier, she just had to wait until she gets a turn to speak, hehe. There were so many people participating so it was hard to get a turn easily so everyone had to wait for their turn so no one would be left behind.
Dreemsteem was given the opportunity to do the last giveaway and this time, the prize pool was 10 HBD. Everyone was already getting ready to give an answer to whatever question she was going to ask. At this point I was also curious, thinking of what possible question she could ask and I was ready to give it my best shot this time. While she asked the question on voice, she also left the question at the comment section.
The question was related to the NFTs that dreemers get for curating post on dreemport and immediately I heard the first four words of the question, I quickly guessed what the answer could be and I was lucky! I won the handsome prize of 10 HBD and that was something really amazing and interesting for me because I didn't even wait to hear the whole question, I just gave an answer based on speculation and I was just lucky to have won the prize.
It was totally different and fun experience for me and it did make my previous week an interesting one for me. I know it might not be so much to some persons but it was for me because I live most of my life online and events like that also count as memories for me. Thanks to the second topic of discussion given in the hive naija weekly prompt, I was able to see how interesting and amazing it made my week.
