Today will be showing you a very special food sold by this stall .
Lo Mai Gai are glutinous rice filled with chicken, Chinese mushrooms, Chinese sausage, scallions and sometimes dried shrimp or salted egg.
Cha siu bao are buns filled with barbecue-flavored cha siu pork.
So what happen when "Lo Mai Gai " and "Cha siu bao " mix together ?
Like Malaysia interracial marriages , we got Chindian , baba nyonya and other type. Even food have interracial marriages .
And that is how Ji Wo Bao is born .
This Ji Wo Bao is unbelievably good . I guess it is stand to the pau on it , it suck alll the juice and mushroom smell. The moment i eat the Pau , a great taste explode in my mouth .
It once even appear on newspaper.
It feel so different from eating Cha siu bao and Lo Mai Gai .
If you wish to try it out ,you can come to Desa setapak round about. They open from 5pm to 11 30pm . They have been selling here for 30 years already.
