8 years ago today (1/9/2010), Imgur launched accounts! To those of you who signed up on that life-changing day eight years ago, happy cake day. It has been a wild ride.

I went to university to study audio production and music, thinking I'd become a sound effects engineer. Later, I went back to school to become a veterinarian. Along the way, Imgur happened, and my life changed forever.

That's why this video of my favorite celebrity, The Rock, hits home. Not taking those other paths was the best thing that never happened for me.

Thanks for the eight years, Imgur fam. Let there be cake.
