They are everywhere. These people lurk among us.
A simple, white lie pretension - I will consider you a poser.
A simple deception about your favorite food would already make you a poser.
Posers come in different flavors that throw themselves in social networking playgrounds. Not only through the internet, they are everywhere, sharing the same air with us!
A person who bluffs to be someone who is not, a person who mislead his own ideas and state of mind to impress, a person who contemplates to crack into a social group - That is a poser!
It is like promoting yourself through false advertising.
But bear in mind that a minor pretension can ruin someone's reputation, yours! And when your reputation stumbles, trust goes with it.
I see no wrong in being honest. I would rather be hated for being myself than be praised based on my lies.
