Unrestrained Failure
Revolutions fail miserably when they hate with no restraint. If resentment is bigger than the desire to right the wrongs of centuries of inequality, then getting revenge becomes the main goal and power for power's sake becomes an end rather that a means to change things.
When you let corruption fly with no restraint, services fail because the money had gone to wrong places. Corruption breed inefficiency, mediocrity, and decay.
You let people steal and lie without restraint and everything becomes a parody of life. Sick people will literally wait with their feet in the mud for lame answers to their cries.
"We don't have this; we don't have that; we don't have that either."
When you open the box of despair, all demons are freed and you'll have normal-looking people acting crazy...
And crazy-looking people who just let their desperation run with no restraint.
