National Mass Grave
The tyrants worked at their leisure for as long as they lived.
The international community and all the institutions allegedly in charge of defending human rights did not do anything. They did not see the urgency. They did not see a mass of bodies that would fire an alarm.
The tyrants knew how these organisms worked. They also knew how the people worked. They cooked them slowly. By the time the people realized they would all perish regardless of their submissiveness or indifference, it was too late. The water was already boiling.
The tyrants made sure the dead bodies would be produced sparsely and efficiently. Every dead body would send a message to those masses that might at some point (if only they knew how powerful they would be in synchrony) rise. Social control is easy if you lack scruples.
Even if they are spread; even if they did not share a common ground, all those dead bodies do share a common cause of death. They were all victims of the combination of sick minds obsessed with power and powerful minds sickly obsessed with money.
The summation of those who died defending their rights, those who died fleeing for their lives, those who individually tried to contribute their share, and those who carried the burden of poverty and bad luck, amounted to millions.
They lie spread across the country and around the world.
Divide and conquer works for the tyrants with the same effectiveness it works for the corporations. No need to fear the masses if they remain distracted, scattered, or scared.
