Someone’s trash is someone else’s treasure, they say.
Infinite Possibilities
Sometimes, life feels like an empty document, a blank slate of sorts, pregnant with infinite possibilities.
Sometimes, it also feels like an empty document, devoid of meaning, of value, of substance.
However, can a document be empty?
Isn’t a document, by definition, a written, printed or electronic record? Isn’t life, by definition, a growing and changing condition.
An empty life, like an empty document, is then a lousy metaphor; an oxymoron at best.
What we fill it with, or what we find lacking, is then a matter of perception, of circumstances. Like a document that can be precious for someone, just a convenient fuel for some, or a total burden for others.
Someone’s trash is someone else’s treasure, they say.
Maybe living an empty life only means we’re living it next to the wrong people. Like the right document in the wrong hands, a pregnancy of possibilities.
