there is a young man who is currently trending after he made open confession about his marriage crisis, his wife of 11years left him for another man and it's not like a hidden matter, as of today I saw the wife's wedding on social media, she left him and got married to this new man it's all over on social media, that is to me intentional wickedness.
I don't know if it's civilisation or modernization that has taken over families, relationships these days barely last like those in the days of our fathers, especially in the western world, the rate of divorce is steadily on the rise, I was telling a friend of mine that it's almost like a form of business for the women, get married after some years, ask for a divorce and be compensated with half of the man's wealth and possessions for what exactly.

I don't really want to focus on these divorce cases but point to the fact that I feel women are seeking for a level on independence from the men, instead of been tied up in form of marriage, they now seek a level of financial freedom while chasing their career.
it's very heart breaking to go through all these, especially were kids are in the picture, you see that all the man's hardwork, years of sacrifice destroyed, I know it's both ways but more of the women folks, I think women just want to become independent, they prefer been single mothers chasing after their career and doing what they like...
I would say civilisation and modernization has really played a crucial role in shaping the future of marriages and how families grow and build together, gone are the days when women were relegated to just the kitchen works and raising children, now more women are canvassing for officials positions in company, become more independent, run for public offices, gone are the days when women depends so much on the man for everything, this new reality is affecting how women stay in marriages or relationships
the role of submission, been a house wife is far gone, however very few still acknowledge the roles of a man and a woman in marriage
I feel the society had tilted away from the norm, the original plan and purposes of marriage towards a totally different ball game however there are consequences to these options.
