I am currently constructing realistic Materials out of free textures and this wood plank looks nice. I constructed this small container style space out of wooden planks and in the second image you can see a computer chip stylized mirror ceiling, representing the underwire of the solar panels on the roof. We are just sitting across from the grocery store in Creekside, come on down and say hello!

Here is what you cannot see in the 360 image, the roof is a high quality solar panel material.
My Player character came to visit Dennis who has just arrived to review textures with me.
I have constructed these Materials although the blueprints can still use some adjustments.
These new materials on my desk represent 3.74 GB and 233 files in 14 folders.
I am going to need WAY more hard drive space. I recently had to move my c drive downloads folder to my x drive because it was almost completely full. I am also making sure all my unreal projects are being constructed in the x drive because that is where I have free space. I am constructing new materials and learning new techniques in Unreal, as well as Blender.
Learning how to sculpt landscapes is easy, but creating what you want is harder. I spent all night reverse excavating the richat structure and painting it to try and recreate the landscape.
The obj file my friend sent me was easy enough to insert into my game map.
I have dreamed of being able to look at this, even to maybe go there one day,
but now to be able to inspect it like this is just thrilling on so many levels,
as an animator and as an amateur archeologist.
I set myself up a workbench and have even built a stage now, but I don't want to rush this. It takes time to sculpt, erode, flatten and adjust the texture map and every change alters the whole. I want to build up the right spots, but not excess. It will really take some time but the process is fun!
This is a look at my Unreal Engine workspace and what I have been up to the last 24hrs or so.
