Hello hive learners, how are you doing today? The moment i read the contest for today and tomorrow: what came to my mind was ‘you cannot hate yourself and love someone’ that is just the truth.
Hating yourself is narcissism, and I don’t believe that someone can hate him/herself. If you think you don’t like yourself, it is not yourself but what is going on with you.
There are people who used to say, ‘i hate myself’ and i realized that it was situation that make them say it.
If you hate yourself and love someone else, why don’t you give the person you loved the most valuable things you heard and want for those things again. Despite the fat, you like those valuable things, and they are very important to you. Why don’t you give it out to the person you love even though the person you love has them.
You cannot be in a sick bed or emergency condition and you are telling the doctor that is treating you to treat the person that you loved most.
Self-love is very crucial; it is not that you are selfish, it is normal thing to love yourself.
There was someone whose name is Joshua in my environment; he was hated by villagers just because his family had 100% criminal records in my area😔😔. He was told by villagers that you aren’t worthy of being loved, no one will care if you die and we even pray for you to die because we don’t want you. That was the statement he always heard from everyone in the village just because his family had the highest criminal records. 😭😢😭
This statement made him work so hard so that he would be loved by people that hated him: though he was traumatized by the statement, his self-esteem was very low.
His only friends told him that, “Joshua, you don’t need to hate yourself even if the whole world hates you, continue love yourself; and if you feel like you are hating yourself just because people said, whenever you are going out, out a good dress on, look yourself on a mirror and say to yourself, Joshua, I love you!!!
When you want to sleep, look yourself in the mirror and say, thank you God for creating me so handsome and unique, i am one of the handsome men in the planet.

You cannot hate yourself and love others. The same measure you love yourself, the same you will give out to others.
There were times I don’t even remember to celebrate my birthday; I only knew that every January 7th is my birthday.
Since I have been celebrating birthdays, I do it at home, I have never gone out to celebrate my birthday, but in 2022, I celebrated my birthday on the beach. It was the biggest surprise of my life given to me by my friends.
Three days before my birthday, my friend Kunle, also known as Roy, called me on a phone call. He said, “Chris, this year’s birth will be celebrated on a beach, I know you like beach very well. It is only once a year, and we have to make it a remarkable one.”
We agreed on a certain beach near my area because we want many people to attend it. I never knew they had a great plan for me over there.
They have made a lot of provision that I was not aware of; My plan was to drink, eat and come back to my house.
Though, when I was coming, two of them were calling me, monitoring my movement. They told me when I get to the beach, I should call them before entering the beach; on getting there, i called one of them, and three of them came out.
When I wanted to pay my entry fees to the receptionist, he told me that someone had paid for it.
On getting to one of the big tents on the beach, I saw that they had beautified the tent with flowers and decorative materials.
Immediately I entered the tent, I was blushing and began to ask who did this?
Why was I still asking ‘who did this? I just many of my friends more than 10 shouting ‘happy birthday Chris’.
I could not control my emotions; I was very happy and forgot the question I was asking. They sang happy birthday song for about five minutes; then I saw my fiancée with big cake coming toward me, she brought it to me, and we cut the cake together.
Hmmm! Cake was not part of my plan; and I didn’t even know that someone baked cake for my birthday 🎂🎂.
A few minutes later, they brought different types of wines, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. All of them were drinking and merry with me.
All of them knew I don’t drink alcohol, because it was a special day for me🍷, I drank alcoholic wine, got intoxicated and could not control myself again.
That my birthday was the best moment; I was treated by my friends like a king.
I could not come home alone; my fiancée brought me home that very day.
I stand up for success, and success is not achieved by merely making mouth, No room for laziness, no room for idleness.
