Hello Splinterlands lovers and players across the world, how are you doing today?
Last week's battle mage secrets 'lost legendary' where we learned that legendary monsters can't be used when the rule is given but there is a probability that players can use legendary summoners.
Learned from different posts I read and videos. I learned different ways of arranging monsters.
I watched @seattlea battle against
@tannix, I love the way
@seattlea arranged his monsters and that was the reason he won the battle.
Lost magic is one of the rules I encountered most while playing Splinterlands.
The Lost magic rule is very simple and straightforward; it prepares my mind that this battle I'm about to play does not require magic monsters.
Hence, while selecting the Monsters to use, you should know that magic monsters are not allowed.
When I was given this battle today, the only summoner that was available was Earth's summoners; and the highest level of Earth Summoner I have was Lyanna Natura. And in this game, players used their strongest cards. If I had used another Earth Summoner, I would have lost the battle.
There are battles like that of which players are given only a summoner to fight. It may be Earth just like I was given only Earth in this battle and there was nothing I could do to change it. If I refused to fight the battle, I would have lost the battle.
✅✅Ruleset✅✅
Odd Ones Out: Only! monsters with odd mana costs may be used in battles.
This rule is like odd numbers in mathematics; old numbers are numbers that can not be divided by 2 such as 1, 3,5,7,9,11 e.t.c.
Therefore, monsters with such mama numbers can only be used in this battle.
Lost Magic: Monsters with magic attacks may not be used in battles.
There was a day I forgot that lost legendary was among the rules I was given. I started searching for Doctor Blight in the monster collection until I was left with a few seconds to choose monsters. I never knew until I was left with 10 seconds; ten seconds was too small for me to select monsters. That was how I lost the game.

✅✅Monsters Arrangements✅✅
Fungus Funger
Splinter: Water
Level: 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Ability: Martyr
Speed: 1
Health: 5
Pack: Chaos legion pack
Attack: Range
It is obvious that ranged monsters can not attack in the first position. It was part of my strategy to use Fungus Funger in the first position to increase the stats of other Pelacor Mercenary.
Just as it was planned, Fungus Funger was the first monster that was eliminated in the battle; Pelacor Mercenary stats increased the moment Fungus Funger was eliminated.
That was exactly what I was looking for.
Pelacor Mercenary
Splinter: Water
Level: 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Ability: Flying
Speed: 2
Health: 11
Pack: Chaos legion pack
Attack: Melee
The initial health of Pelacor Mercenary was 11; the moment Fungus Funger was killed, the health of Pelacor increased from 11 to 11; the speed from 2 to 3, and when opponent Creepy Ooze was eliminated, its speed increased to 4. Pelacor Mercenary's melee increased from 3 to 4.
Screeching Vulture
Splinter: Water
Level: 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Ability: Opportunity and Flying
Speed: 4
Health: 4
Pack: Alpha
Attack: Melee
It was very important to use Screeching Vulture because of the opportunity ability. If not Screeching Vulture, Creepy Ooze would have held the speed of all my monsters till the second round.
Water Elemental
Splinter: Water
Level: 4⭐⭐⭐⭐
Ability: Healing
Speed: 2
Health: 7
Pack: Beta
Attack: Range
Water Elemental is a Beta Pack; it is a rare monster with healing ability.
Its healing ability made this Monster a unique one for me. There were times I used this monster as the last monster which was difficult for sneak monsters to eliminate. This is the reason I like to use it as a last monster.
I also love to use Water Elemental in the second position when little league is given. It is a strategy to delay opponent monsters. I have used Water Elemental in second position in several battles of which I won them.
Round 1
My opponent used Creepy Ooze to reduce the speed of all my monsters and Brownie to increase all his monsters. Therefore, his monsters had the advantage of attacking faster.
Two opponent monsters had opportunity to attack first which were Javelin Thrower and Screeching Vulture. They eliminated Fungus Funger in the first round. The martyr ability increased the stats of an adjacent monster.
My Screeching Vulture was the third monster to attack. It attacked Creepy Ooze and eliminated it. That was when all my monsters recovered the speed that was deducted.
Pelacor Mercenary attacked Vampire Bat and eliminated it. If not the Marty ability that increases the stats of an adjacent monster; Vampire Bat wouldn't have been killed at once.
Water Elemental missed the first attack.
Second round
Javelin Thrower damaged three health from Pelacor Mercenary; my Screeching Vulture eliminated Vampire Bat.
In the third round, the total of five monsters were left- three from my side and two from my opponent.
