My Dad married my mom with 11 years difference. Their marriage life has been that of "friendships" because my dad never took that as an advantage to maltreat her in a whatsoever way.

It didn’t take more than a few conversations with different guys. Little talking stages made me understand that these guys weren’t just on the same maturity level as I was. I understood that we were all adolescents but why couldn’t your thought process transcend beyond mundane things? Not everything had to go that way. Really.

The belief I had when I was young was that as a person age, they become wiser and make better decisions. I always believed that as a person grows older, they become more mature and always know the right thing to do at the right time.
