Greetings poets!

It's time for another poetry prompt. For this week's prompt I challenge you to try something not often posted on Hive. You might need to channel your inner dbooster@dbooster for this one.

This week's prompt:

Write a write a haibun.

A haibun is a traditional Japanese literary form that combines prose, which typically describes a scene, moment, or journey in a vivid, objective way, followed by a haiku. The haiku provides a subtle insight, shift, or reflection on the prose that deepens the overall effect.

Make sure you comment on at least two other poems when you post yours.

Here's a couple of examples haibuns:

I'm not going to run these prompts like a contest and can't promise any monetary prize. I can however offer to spotlight any poems written in response to the last prompt. If you tag this account (hive-161465@hive-161465) and my main account (moeknows@moeknows), I will do my best to pin your poem here in the #blockchainpoets community.

Happy writing, everyone.
