This will be simple, short and straight to the point. I have read dozens of articles and probably hundreds of comments about 50/50 and how it will affect us in various ways. I was against 50/50 for a long period of time, but I eventually started to see how it actually could benefit us instead of making things worse...
I am still skeptical, and I will probably not believe it until I see it with my own eyes, but I would love to hear from others what they think will happen when 50/50 becomes the new normal on STEEM.
There are two things I am the most interested to hear:
- Why it will be more difficult to earn.
- Why some people seems to believe that there will be less pressure on authors to produce content.
I personally can't really see the reason for number 2 to be true if number 1 is accurate. Tons of people seems to think that they will earn less, because curators will earn more... So shouldn't the pressure to produce quality content increase if that's the case?
