EL PETROGLIFO LA FRANCESA. [ ESP//ENG]

Me dispongo muy temprano a buscar un albañil para culminar la obra funeraria de mi amada viejita, Plácida Rizo. Que no la he podido culminar por algunos aspectos que han ocurrido para su culminación, al primero que busque para que realizara el oficio, le entregue los materiales, el cemento, la cerámica y el dinero para comprar la arena. También, le, pague por adelantado la mano de obra para dos personas. El final es impresionante, este señor no cumplió con lo encomendado. Cuando fui a su casa para impulsar el acometido, no lo encontré en su casa, se fue para las minas de oro en Yarabana del estado Amazonas, Venezuela. Este otra diáspora interna que desarrolla la población venezolana hacia la irracional explotación de la minería ilegal en la geografía del macizo guayanés.

I set out very early to look for a bricklayer to finish the funeral work of my beloved old lady, Plácida Rizo. I have not been able to finish it because of some aspects that have occurred for its completion, the first one I looked for to carry out the work, I gave him the materials, the cement, the ceramics and the money to buy the sand. I also paid in advance for the labour for two people. The end is impressive, this man did not do what he was asked to do. When I went to his house to push for the undertaking, I did not find him at home, he left for the gold mines in Yarabana, Amazonas State, Venezuela. This is another internal diaspora that the Venezuelan population is developing towards the irrational exploitation of illegal mining in the geography of the Guiana massif.

Me funciono para ese momento el automático incondicional de la buena fe. No fue nada efectivo lo que obtuve en ese momento, porque el albañil no cumplió con su responsabilidad. Me desprendí en lo material y allí fallé en varios aspectos. El primer aspecto es que no acompañe el proyecto.
Hago mi reflexión, discierno, razono lo acontecido y busco un nuevo actor para realizar el trabajo de la tumba de mi viejita. Adquiero todos los materiales para efectuar la labor y los resguardo en mi casa. Me consigo al señor Richard, me lo recomiendan como un hombre serio, responsable de sus compromisos. Acordamos que vamos a subir al cementerio el sábado, que lo voy a acompañar. Él me mira fijamente a mis ojos, nos vemos la profundidad de nuestros iris, él le carraspea la garganta y acordamos para las siete de la mañana del sábado, le dejo la placa que se va a colocar en la obra funeraria.

The automatic unconditional good faith worked for me at the time. What I got at that moment was not effective at all, because the bricklayer did not fulfil his responsibility. I was detached in material terms and I failed in several respects. The first aspect is that I did not accompany the project.
I do my reflection, I discern, I reason what happened and I look for a new actor to carry out the work on my old lady's grave. I acquire all the materials to carry out the work and I keep them in my house. I get Mr. Richard, who is recommended to me as a serious man, responsible for his commitments. We agree that we will go up to the cemetery on Saturday, that I will accompany him. He stares into my eyes, we see the depth of our irises, he clears his throat and we agree to meet at seven o'clock on Saturday morning, I leave him the plaque that is going to be placed at the funeral site.

Se hicieron cuatro sábados y el señor albañil no pudo cumplir con el compromiso. Decidí ir a buscar la placa que deje en su casa, llego, pregunto ´por el señor Richard, me responden que no está, él nunca se encuentra en su casa, solicito que me entreguen la placa, la recibo y retorno a mi casa.

Four Saturdays went by and the bricklayer was unable to fulfil his commitment. I decided to go and look for the plaque I left at his house, I arrived, I asked for Mr. Richard, they told me he was not at home, he was never at home, I asked for the plaque to be given to me, I received it and returned home.

Al siguiente día salgo a buscar a otro albañil, me recomiendan a Edgar, me dan su dirección y al salir a buscarlo, el señor Edgar lo encuentro con la sensibilidad coherente para realizar el proyecto funerario.
–Si yo estoy a su orden para colaborar, donde están los materiales. Me pregunta.
–Los tengo en mi casa. ¿Cuándo comenzamos? Le pregunto.
–Mañana, actualmente estoy trabajando con dos tumbas.
–Mañana muy temprano traigo los materiales para que subamos. Yo voy para el cementerio, vamos a ver la tumba para observar que vamos a hacer. Nos vamos por un callejón hacia el cerro del cementerio, este camino lo conozco porque durante cuarenta años lo camine con mis alumnos visitando los petroglifos de Caicara del Orinoco.

The next day I go out to look for another bricklayer, they recommend Edgar, they give me his address and when I go out to look for him, Mr. Edgar, I find him with the coherent sensibility to carry out the funeral project.
–If I am at your disposal to collaborate, where are the materials? He asked me.
–I have them in my house. When do we start? I ask him.
–Tomorrow, I am currently working on two tombs.
–Tomorrow very early in the morning I'll bring the materials so that we can go up. I'm going to the cemetery, we're going to see the tomb to see what we're going to do. We go down an alley towards the hill of the cemetery, I know this path because for forty years I walked it with my students visiting the petroglyphs of Caicara del Orinoco.

Llegamos a la parte alta del cerro y a mi derecha veo el lugar que está abandonado de los petroglifos de La Francesa. Entramos al cementerio y localizamos la tumba de Plácida Rizo. Está ubicada en el sector donde Edgar está trabajando con tres hombres en dos tumbas. Revisada la característica acuerdo con compañero Edgar que en la mañana traigo, los paquetes de loza y los sacos de pego; él cemento lo pone por qué tiene para cubrir esa obra. Me despido de los trabajadores, visito las tumbas de mis padres, abuelos y familiares y bajo el cerro por donde inicie el acometido hacia el cementerio.

We reach the top of the hill and to my right I see the abandoned site of the petroglyphs of La Francesa. We enter the cemetery and locate the tomb of Plácida Rizo. It is located in the sector where Edgar is working with three men on two graves. After checking the property, I agree with Edgar that in the morning I will bring the packages of earthenware and the sacks of glue; the cement is provided by him because he has to cover the work. I say goodbye to the workers, visit the graves of my parents, grandparents and relatives and go down the hill where I started the journey to the cemetery.

Muy por la mañana, llevo los materiales a la casa de Edgar y subo al cementerio y reviso los petroglifos, La Francesa. Tienen estos monumentos una significación extraordinaria con el sentido espiritual que estoy desarrollando con la tumba de mi viejita. Percibo que tienen una conexión, tiene esencia de despojos abandonados como todos los cuerpos sepultados en el cementerio.
Estuve en esta faena laboral durante tres días hasta que Edgar cumplió con su palabra. Tiene sentido la palabra que construye, con fervor, con sentido de responsabilidad y compromiso.

Very early in the morning, I take the materials to Edgar's house and go up to the cemetery and check the petroglyphs, La Francesa. These monuments have an extraordinary significance with the spiritual sense I am developing with my old lady's grave. I perceive that they have a connection, they have the essence of abandoned remains like all the bodies buried in the cemetery.
I was in this labour for three days until Edgar kept his word. It makes sense the word he builds, with fervour, with a sense of responsibility and commitment.

Durante estos tres días tomé varias fotos de los petroglifos La francesa. Este trabajo lo tengo ubicado para otra publicación. Está la ausencia informativa porque ese petroglifo lleva ese nombre. En la comunidad desde que lo visito mis familiares y amistades me han referido que se llama La Francesa.
Me encuentro en el final del post mis afines amistades de HIVE, encuentro destacable en la condición humana, una vena que tiene fluir, con el espíritu efectivo de la responsabilidad, el compromiso para culminar con éxitos todas las obras que me propongo. Busco el equilibrio en lo espiritual, para obtener estos nobles resultados debo pesar y valor las obras que emprenden.

During these three days I took several photos of the La Française petroglyphs. This work I have set aside for another publication. There is the informative absence because that petroglyph bears that name. In the community since I visit it my relatives and friends have told me that it is called La Francesa.
I find myself at the end of the post my HIVE friends, I find remarkable in the human condition, a vein that has to flow, with the effective spirit of responsibility, commitment to successfully complete all the works that I propose. I look for the balance in the spiritual, to obtain these noble results I must weigh and value the works that I undertake.

La buena fe debe estar acompañada con los proyectos ejecutables, con la planificación, el presupuesto, la administración, la supervisión y el control de las obras para que sean efectivas, eficaces y eficientes. Existe un viejo refrán que dice:” Los deseos no empreñan”. Así son las obras que se van a ejecutar, deben pasar por el péndulo de la razón.
