Even in Outer Space we are the talk of the town. Or in everyone's gills? How do aliens breathe? It doesn't matter.

Thank HiQ that we have not yet been savagely destroyed by aliens, as in films such as Independence Day. Why? Well, even in other galaxies people read the HiQ. Don't thank us, of course we were happy to do so.

But all joking aside. This week we didn't just swing our balls either. We prepared for the upcoming issue and made further plans for the future. More about that soon. But for now, here is our weekly editorial post. (Editor's note: Which puts even SETI in the shade).

Selbst im Outer Space sind wir in aller Munde. Oder in aller Kiemen? Wie atmen Außerirdische? Ist ja auch egal.

HiQ sei Dank wurden wir bisher noch nicht, wie in Filmen wie zum Beispiel Independence Day wüst von Aliens zerberstet. Weshalb? Na selbst in anderen Galaxien liest man die HiQ. Dankt uns nicht, das haben wir natürlich gerne getan.

Aber mal Spaß beiseite. Auch in dieser Woche haben wir uns nicht nur die Eier geschaukelt. Wir haben uns auf die kommende Ausgabe vorbereitet und schmiedeten weitere Zukunftspläne. Hierzu bestimmt schon bald mehr. Doch nun erstmal für euch der allwöchentliche Redaktionspost. (Anm. d. R.: Welcher selbst SETI in den Schatten stellt.)

Node Issues

On Tuesday 15. November 2022 there were node problems for about 7 hours. This affected several services (Editor's note: Peakd, Rising Star, Hive Engine etc.). Some problems even continued until today. And also !hiqvote was down for 7 hours. Fortunately, we had already improved the script in advance so that it could restart itself. After the worst phase was over, !hiqvote buzzed like a bee again and without our help. We plan to make further improvements next week. Stay tuned.

Am Dienstag, den 15. November 2022, gab es für knapp 7 Stunden Node-Probleme. Dies betraf so einige Services (Anm. d. R.: PeakD, Rising Star, Hive-Engine etc.). Einige Probleme zogen sich sogar bis heute. Und auch !hiqvote war für 7 Stunden down. Glücklicherweise hatten wir das Skript im Vorfeld schon so verbessert, dass es sich selber neustarten konnte. D.h. nachdem die schlimmste Phase überstanden war, summte !hiqvote wieder wie ein Beechen und das ganz ohne unser Zutun. Wir haben geplant, nächste Woche weitere Verbesserungen vorzunehmen. Stay tuned.

Everyone is doing podcasts these days. Therefore, we should also get into the business now. As with every idea, we start spinning around a bit, create accounts (editor's note: @hiq.smartcast) and the whole thing automatically picks up speed. We don't spill the beans, we make do. Cryptomaniacs Podcast

A few weeks ago we discovered @jongolson and @taskmaster4450's podcast. From then on, @quekery and @mary-me caught almost every episode. We were very excited about the guest in the last episode, because we were also allowed to do an interview with him (Dan from @blocktrades) - namely for the physical HiQ. (Editor's note: Which you can still buy. LOOL) On 22 November @crimsonclad has the honour and on 29 November it will be Raymond from @brofund. You can find the podcast on all podcast platforms as well as on 3speak, YouTube and Twitter.

Vor ein paar Wochen entdeckten wir den Podcast von @jongolson und @taskmaster4450. Von da an verpassten @quekery und @mary-me nahezu keine Folge. Meetup Graz

@reiseamateur invites you to the Hive Meetup in Graz in beautiful Styria, Austria on Thursday 24 November 2022 from 6pm to 10pm. It should be a legendary place for blockchain nerds and cool discussions are almost certain to happen. You can find the exact info here. After a break of more than two years, everyone should be quite starved for this event and there will certainly be joyful reunions.
