Hello, all-vegan lovers greetings today It was the summer solstice on Tuesday and for that I made this tropical fruit salad. normally we are very lucky in the summertime to get lots of fruits here locally but tropical fruits are not so easy to buy. last days I was in Oslo and there it is easy to find different kinds of vegetables and fruits in the foreign shops. I got some Indian Alphonso Mangos papaya and pomegranates. plus some nectarines, oranges, and cherries from the local shop. so many fruits at once. then the idea came to my mind to make this summer fruit salad.
My phone was confused about this salad photo. instead of the food setting, it was changing automatically to flower setting.
The fruits i used:
1/2 papaya
1 mango
1 orange
1 nectarine
1 tsp lime juice
I did not use the apple in the photo instead, I used some cherries and
mint leaves
First, peel and slice the mango.
Put the slices around the plate
peel and slice the orange segments in between.
Set them in the center to make the round shape
peel and slice the papaya.
Start putting them on the edge of the plate
arrange the slices of nectarine in the center like a flower.
Add some cherries.
and pomegranate kernels.
After arranging the pomegranate kernels cut the cherries into halves remove the stones and place them near the papaya
finally for some greens I picked some fresh mints from the garden.
the green looks nice but I need some more.
Here Is the final result. Happy summer!
