Beloved, I want to welcome us to another great Sunday. I trust God has been faithful to His promises for our lives.
Briefly, we will be looking at Spiritual Adultery
The Great Commander, the 24 Star General, the King of kings, the God that has the power over life and death, the God who has given us hope through our Lord Jesus Christ, The all sufficient God and the ever - present God.
However, do not be deceived; God cannot be mocked. whatever a man sow, he will reap in return
Galatians 6:7
It was during the time of Ahab and Jezebel that Elijah was prophet in Israel. Satan had his couple on the throne, but God had His name in the field performing miraacles and leading a revival against worship of Baal.
This illustrate the condition of end - time Christianity which combines the worship of God with money, men, wealth, fame and power. What does the word of God says about this?
No man can serve two masters as it amounts to spiritual adultery (Mathew 6:24, James 4:4)
As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in in ignorance. Spiritual adultery is like trying to straddle the fence with one foot in the world and the other in heaven. Set your hearts on the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
