//Pandemic Persists//

Coronavirus, a topic I have avoided writing about for a long while now but today I revisit the subject after months in a pandemic. What’s going on in the bright and exciting world? Well, it’s hard to know without being able to do much nowadays but that is how life works out. Science around the pandemic is still surrounded by politics and the efforts to curb deaths and reduce infection rates continue to impose various actions by governments. Now, with life as it is, I can’t just give up and shut myself inside. No, to progress and continue we must learn to accept and adjust life in a pandemic. That is the one of the choices laid out before me and that is the one I decided to make.

//A Little TLC//

Avoiding the virus through sensible sanitation and social distancing is the very basics of life at the moment. Long gone are the days at raves and parties. Life is very different now but it also made me realise that it’s important to look out for myself. Staying healthy is a massive priority as there is no certain chance that one will not suffer from infection of the virus. If you have a partner or family member that works in exposed environments the chances exponentially increase. So I decided to focus on getting healthier and living the best way I can for now in a time where movement and general life is restricted.

//Early Bird//

One of the biggest changes to my lifestyle if waking up early. I wanted to get a little more out of my day and with the doom and gloom setting in with winter approaching, I wanted to use this extra time to exercise and refresh my mind. It really does work to wake the body and fuel productivity. If you have access to any indoor cardio equipment, spending about 30 minutes with moderate or light cardio is a great way to get the body going. This has helped me foster healthy habits, particularly a better approach to a good diet. I find myself drinking more water, eating at the right times and the right meals throughout the day. It is all compounding and keeping me busy. Whatever it is you do during the pandemic, remember that your own health is important and there is always time to look after ourselves in the most difficult times.
