Ever since I've gotten my new laptop, I've been playing games with it again. One of the games that I started playing is Valorant. It's a first person shooter game where you and your team work together to attain a goal - in this case, plant or defuse the Spike.

If you are familiar with Counter Strike, the Spike is similar to the bomb in CS. The goal of both games are the same, but the difference with it is that Valorant has a lot of special shiny shit, like abilities and special features in the map.

Me as a noob

The very first FPS that I have played before was Counter Strike 1.3 (I think) and I definitely enjoyed Half Life and Left 4 Dead 2 so the controls in FPS are pretty much familiar to me. I don't play as often though so my aim is really crappy.

The last time I played an FPS was in 2018 and that was Dirty Bomb. So this is the first FPS game that I have played in a while.

Sage

In Valorant, you can choose to play as a specific agent that you like. The one that caught my attention is Sage.

Sage's abilities is mainly about defense and healing. So yeah, like a medic in Dirty Bomb.

I have played a lot as a medic in Dirty Bomb and I enjoy being a support as like I said, I'm not that good with offense. In order to play Sage effectively, you must not....die first. LOL.

Abilities

Signature ability: Healing Orb

The Healing Orb can replenish health of the damaged allies. You can also use it on yourself like what I did on that gif. I know I'd be dead if I don't escape haha. You can't heal your teammates if you're dead. xD

And here I healed my teammate without checking if the enemy down below is aiming at my area LOL. But it was worth it cos after that, they were able to defuse the Spike and we won. :3 But yeah Sage shouldn't do that though. I'd be a burden if I do it consistently.

The Slow Orb and the Barrier Orb

She can throw a Slow Orb that creates a crystal-zone on the ground that slows anyone who's on it and also makes noise for those walking on it.

The Barrier Orb creates a big wall...for whatever purpose you like lol.

In that gif, you can see that my ally successfully planted the Spike. The Sage from the enemy side threw a Slow Orb on us while we take cover and made a barrier, literally blocking the three of us so we can't shoot her while she defuse the Spike. Pretty smart LOL. This is how Sage is so powerful if used effectively.

Ressurection

And her ultimate ability is being able to revive a dead ally. It is an awesome ultimate ability but should be done with thinking too. Ultimates have to be charged to be used and that takes how many rounds of the game. If you use it when the team is already winning, it becomes a stupid decision. Or if you use it while not making sure the area's cleared lol.

Those are the four abilities of Sage which makes her perfect for those like me imo.

Even though I'm practicing Sage to support allies, there are also times where I'm the only one left. :< In that case I get pressured cos all eyes on me lol but here's one of the gameplays that I have successfully killed the enemies even though I'm the only one left.

(Of course I won't show the other videos where I've been really crappy HAHAHAHA)

Also note that this is Unrated, so I'm playing with the noobs here like me as well lol. So don't expect a lot xD

And also yeah you can clearly see the noob mistake of aiming at the ground while walking. Would be interesting to see the progress I make in the next couple of games.

And also here's a sad face sculpt hahaha.
