In Bangkok, there are a few modern buildings around. Somewhere in Thong Lor, there's this coffee shop that I can say has the weirdest architecture that I've been to.
It's located a few streets from the main road of Thong Lor, Sukhumvit. I think this area is mainly a residential one although there are a lot of businesses around. It's pretty quiet here as only a few cars drive by.
You wouldn't think this was a coffee shop at first especially they just put a big "CPS" and a tiny "coffee" on the sign lol. I would think this would be some type of art studio or a home-something showroom.
Inside looks like a typical coffee shop. There were only a few customers around and later I realized it was because they're also about to close. ;P
This looks really nice in here and it's also a pet-friendly zone! I'm not sure if there are more tables upstairs since we weren't able to come up (as it wasn't needed lol) but I think they have and it's a bigger space. Just guessing.
Their desserts look bomb tho. I wasn't much in the desserts mode that time but those cupcake look so tasty.
Of course, this strawberry dessert looks delicious as hell.
I could've dropped my croissant!
I ordered an iced caramel macchiato and a macadamia white chocolate cookie. The coffee is pretty damn gooood. I could taste the caramel pretty well but not too much for it to overpower the coffee and milk. It's just a balance of everything. :D
Their cookie is good I would say, but not my favorite. I think it kinda tastes like butterscotch as well but just a tiny bit.
I'm glad this was a really good coffee and not just a gimmick and being all "modern" design just for the gram you know. There's a lot of that in the city and probably everywhere - to have an aesthetic cafe to attract the Instagram kidz but have a shit menu haha. I'm happy this wasn't the case and it's actually pretty goood coffee. :D
Looking outside the big glass wall, I saw a squirrel just running around lol. So cute.
