A few days ago, I bought some crystals for myself. Not only because they're pretty, but I really want to make something as a symbol so I could finally manifest something in myself. I mean, I could definitely manifest something without necessarily buying crystals (to supposedly help with vibrations and shit) but I'm the type of person who values things and gives meanings to them.
After buying them, I immediately meditated with them. I got to know them. Basically just thinking about your goals and that knowing an object makes you happy and that it will remind you of what your goals are.
For example with my labradorite, it's supposed to help you with transformation and to believe the magic inside of you... So, I meditated with it, repeating to myself that there's a dreamer inside of me and that the sky is limitless. Everytime I look at it, it reminds me that I will be able to reach my goals because I can fly.
I manifested love, success, abundance, and healing...
It made me feel good and confident, of course.
Then randomly, I received a message on Instagram from a curator. He's interested in my works and wants me to submit my portfolio for an art fair.
Knowing there's many shady stuff on Instagram, I did a background check. And oh my, they are a legit curator team. They organize an international art fair and I felt honored for them to ask for my portfolio. I mean, I've been dreaming of being able to exhibit (physically) internationally and it seems like this is a big opportunity for me to do that. (Because it isn't final yet and they have to discuss with the team once they received my portfolio)
I can't help but think...
Wow lmao did my positive thinking just work? XD
The law of attraction
When I was having therapy sessions with my psychologist back in 2016, one of the things that I learned was that the human brain is powerful AF. Not spiritual or supernatural or some shit, but talking about how it functions for us to survive even without us having to make conscious decisions in life. It functions through electrical impulses that create some patterns that affects our minds (or some shit like that, you know what I mean).
But, our minds can also affect these impulses. And this is the reason why therapy works.
Basically speaking, whatever we put our mind into, our whole body follows and that gives us the motivation to reach our goals.
I believe in it 100% and this is why I also make extra efforts to take care of my mental health and observe my thoughts.
Obviously, my meditation didn't directly affect the curators' mind. It just made me post on Instagram quite often and use the correct hashtags and that's how they were able to find my works. It doesn't have to be necessarily about magic (unless you want to believe in it) but more of like a domino effect and connections and stuff like that.
I've already submitted my portfolio last night and I really hope they like it and would lend me some exhibitions abroad. :>
If not, then that's also fine as I believe what I did now will be useful for the next step I'm going to make.
