The first combination was four sets of 90-degree exercises (two reps each), accompanied by shoulder raises using 5 kg dumbbells. This combo primarily sought to strengthen my lever strength and specifically target the anterior deltoid, a key muscle in both calisthenics and general pushing training.
The second superset was a combination of handstand push-ups and bicep curls. These exercises not only strengthen the shoulders but also protect and strengthen my elbows, which was necessary to strengthen my injury. Here, I placed special emphasis on maintaining proper posture and executing the movement in a controlled manner, prioritizing muscle tension and optimal range of motion.
As a third exercise, I performed 90-degree straddle exercises (in reps) combined with shoulder raises to further strengthen my elbows. I want to emphasize the importance of performing this exercise slowly and in a controlled manner. It's not about performing rapid reps, but rather creating a real connection between the shoulder, elbow, and wrist, which is vital to mastering this exercise.
Finally, to close out the workout, I performed a calisthenics base consisting of seven handstand push-ups, seven lean push-ups, and seven seconds of lean holds, seeking to stimulate endurance, body control, and complete mastery of these movements.
In total, I performed 16 sets, with 4 to 5-minute rests between each set to ensure I was working at a truly strong level, maintaining the quality of each repetition. It was truly a positive day. I felt comfortable in the space, the environment, and with each set I completed. Without a doubt, it was an incredible experience that left me feeling very good.
