Henrietta's Hive introduction 👋

Greetings to the entire hive family. After about a week of opening my Hive account, I finally get to introduce myself and my thoughts on the Hive blog. Although, this did not just happen without much convincing from my buddy @Seyipaul.

My name is Henrietta Olabanji, A vibrant 27years old lady, a Nigerian, black, proud and jolly(yeah, that's right). As the first child of a devoted catholic family, I also, have a younger brother who is a determined and an intelligent young man. I also have great friends who inspire me to do more. As a graduate, I had my first degree in English and literary studies from the reputable university of Adekunle Ajasin University and subsequently acquired a second degree which would pass as my masters degree in English language from the first and best university in Nigeria (University of Ibadan)👍. Thus, as a GRAMMARIAN, creative writing has been a major part of my career, hence, planning articles and researching written or unwritten works is one that I can't do without. This platform therefore, serves a great means to showcase my talents and professionalism.

Hmmmmm... In my country Nigeria, it is believed that the girl child is relegated to the 'kitchen' meaning she was made particularly for performing household chores. Well, civilization has taken great care of patriarchal domination in our country but still, I love cooking, making traditional dishes that appeal to culture. Hence, you might be seeing more of me in the food community.

For the sake of fun, volleyball is a game I love playing when I hang out with friends or social hang outs and yes, I am tall. The energy and calculative skills are not for the weak.

Also, ever since I owned a camera phone, picture taking has always been an integral part of me. Well, ladies have been stereotyped to be perpetual selfie lovers but Henrietta is exceptional because I takes pictures not only of myself but pictures that relates with nature and certain occurrences around my environment that would relieve memories for the future. From the foregoing, Hivers can conclude that I love adventures and seeing new places.

To crown it all up, my hobbies also include sewing (fashion designing)--I make clothes for myself and clients during my spare time and to assure you also, you will see more of me in the fashion category.

As a cheerful, active and adventurous lady, it is pertinent of me to have more new relationships. From my introduction above, I enjoy creating content concerning food, pictures, fashion, sports and everyday activities. As a graduate of English, I am a professional in reviewing books, literatures or movies. Thus, going through the Hive communities, there are book clubs where I can showcase my talents. Well, you can call me jack of all trades 😂😂so you should expect the unexpected from me. (pun intended but true).
