Good day creative people,
To start I was thinking about making this post before Valentine's day because my inspiration is the shape of a heart. The drawings were done on time but I had an issue uploading them so here they are.
I decided the heart will be the shape of the character's face and at this point the upper body seemed like following the same direction.
I did not want this character to look like anything about Valentine so I was convincing myself to stay away from pink and red colors hence the dark brown body. However, I did not know why I put some red mittens on. Mittens of all things? You never know what is going to happen as this is a creative process. See how I focused on defining them first ? That is how I milk my creativity.
The mittens now have some strings to them in different colors. Maybe that would help define this character I hope so. I am note sure what will happen I randomly put some clothes and socks. It is now looking like a penguin with the face finally done. I will be stopping here and will try to finish this character soon.
