I don’t think those black bugs are earwigs, or at least, they aren’t like the earwigs we have around here. They look more like beetles of some kind to me... but I’m no entomologist! 😛

I remember doing face studies way back in middle school, so very long ago! I never did perfect the art of drawing people, but the lessons and basics I did learn about finding correct proportion have served

Very very neat. As a kid I once visited a museum near my hometown in Idaho where they had excavated some mammoth bones. I still remember it; the sheer size of those creatures boggles the mind!
