My latest drawing for the Drawaday community is now ready take a look
For this creative challenge, I chose to illustrate the Merry Tassel Juggler, even without tne prompts I think this was a wonderful drawing. I wanted to capture that bright and colorful joy of my day today, so I sketched a cheerful performer named Pimpom, someone who always seems to carry a bit of playfulness wherever he dances he could be in a festival. His fuzzy orange pom-poms, his soft pink scarf, and those bright swaying leg tassels are all details I really enjoyed working on with full details .
This drawing was actually done with no plan in mind, as I simply let the bright colors and textured brushstrokes guide my hand on the canvas. I wanted to see what would happen if I didn't overthink the shapes, layering the vibrant pinks and sunny yellows piece by piece until this quirky little character came together. It was incredibly relaxing to just have fun and make mistakes and let the drawing shape itself naturally.
