움파란 베어 낸 파줄기에서 다시 줄기가 나와서 자란 파를 말한다. 움파는 쪽파보다 연하고 달큰한 속이 꽉 차 있어서 달달한 맛이 난다. 그 맛이 거칠거나 억세지 않다. 겨울을 밭에서 나고 요즘 올라오는 움파는 향긋하기까지 하다.
