In this solitude of myself
My eyes are closed
And my thoughts open
They stroll the pathway
Littered with the memories
Of the years we lived and loved.

It was like a million years
But now, like shadows,
We have become silhouettes
Of our very selves.
When you made a detour
On a frolic of your own
And took a different route.

And now...
Along parallel tracks
We walk
Wishing that someday
Our Paths will cross again
This time, to a dead end.
