Shadow Hunter Contest Round 425 - Little Kitten, Big Shadow

Caught this little shadow hunter during golden hour.

I was walking outside when I spotted this tiny ginger kitten exploring the yard. The sun was high and harsh, throwing sharp shadows on the dry earth. His own little shadow stretched out beside him like a partner in crime.

What I love about this shot is the contrast. The bright sun, the dusty ground, scattered

, and this small ball of fluff casting a shadow bigger than his confidence. He's squinting at me like I'm the one trespassing in his territory.

Nature makes the best shadows, and sometimes the smallest hunters cast them.
